Ryan is the Chief People Officer for American Eagle Financial Credit Union, the largest full-service community credit union in Connecticut. He is passionate about leveraging data, insights, technology, and evolving workforce preferences to create the ideal conditions for AEFCU’s talented people to fulfill their mission of creating financial freedom for their members.

With a track-record of leveraging data to quantify people-focused strategies, Ryan joined American Eagle in 2021 after nearly twenty years in a variety of HR roles. In past roles he built a people analytics function, optimized HR operations, transformed employee experience measurement, redesigned incentive programs, and served as an HR business partner at a large regional bank. A University of Connecticut graduate and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SCP), he is passionate about being a dad, personal growth, and supporting his community. He is the co-founder of Walk with Us, a non-profit supporting families impacted by brain cancer in honor of the late Richard Deenihan, Jr.
