Cathy Peterman is the Chief People Officer, Technology at Wayfair. In her role, she is responsible for the
technology organization’s end-to-end people strategy partnering with the Chief Technology Officer and
supporting a global organization of 3,000 technologists. In addition, she oversees global talent development and relations for all 11k employees at Wayfair.

Prior to Wayfair, Cathy spent nearly six years at Amazon, where she drove the talent management
strategy for three distinct Amazon businesses, supporting over 40,000 employees. She led organizational
design, talent management, learning & leadership development, employee communications, people
analytics, employee relations, and performance management. She also held HR leadership roles in
Amazon Advertising Tech and Physical Stores.

Her wide-ranging human resources experience includes designing and implementing wide-scale people
transformations, incorporating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies for recruiting and retention,
executive coaching, and Cathy lives in Seattle and holds a BA from Villanova University and an MA from University of Denver.
